PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Olla project is an "Integrant Action" of search, tutors training and young people under twenty, to give them the possibility of getting a  job, by the creation of new firms, all  realised in Puglia region (South of Italy), during the period from the 20th of April 1998 to the 30th June 2000, within the Operative Program (1997-1999) on the European Community initiative <Occupation and Valuation of the Human Resource - Youthstart>, Asse C. 3.to support the local initiatives, to create a labour market for the young people in those areas such as artistry, cultural heritage, ambient gardenship and to improve the life quality in the city, social progress.

The final target of "OLLA" project, is to set up a co-operative of workers with the aim to commercialise all those products produced, such as ceramics, metals, archaeological reproductions of Daunia (VII-IV Century b.C).

The S. Giuseppe Institute, (Canosa di Puglia  - Via S. Lucia,29/a - c.a.p. 70053, ITALY ),is the promoter of "OLLA Project"; it has been founded in 1951 with the object of helping the young people with family and social problems and to guarantee a school and professional preparation.
